Why do they feel the need to interview people DURING the game?
Sox just hit a home run while they were interviewing the pitching coach for Houston. The interviewer seemed annoyed that there was a game interrupting his interview.

Geeze, would they just shut up? Instead of asking "What do you expect to happen?" why don't they just watch what's happening?

Sorry. Rant off.

1. I don't like that either
and I AM a sports reporter (for a newspaper).
I feel there's no need to interview people during the game.
But TV rules the world and they will do whatever they need to do to try and get ad money and ratings.

2. Because they're Faux
Thus, they suck. They seriously, horribly, brutally suck. They completely fuck up everything they touch. They're riddled with dozens of vile diseases. They eat babies. They hate America.

3. All networks do it. Back when Dan Dierdorf was on MNF
You'd be lucky if they even remembered a game was on.

"So, Frank, tell me about that hot wife of yours? Can she cook? I bet you can't wait to... Hey, they just intercepted and ran back 89 yards for a touchdown... Frank, I'll bet you can't wait to get home after the game, eh? hehehe!"

4. Faux is the only network I've ever seen
do it with baseball.

It's also the only network I've ever seen use an airship camera for a ball game. Or cameras planted in the dirt.

It's also the only network with a hideously asinine cartoon graphic named "Scooter" explaining stuff like why a curve ball curves.

I wish Faux would just fucking explode already.

5. I have to admit, you just convinced me.
Scooter is really annoying.
