I still believe that JFK, Jr. was murdered.
It is just too inconvenient to avoid. He could have kicked ANY REPUBLICAN'S ASS, in any election, FOR ANY OFFICE. They couldn't afford the risk and had him offed.

Disorientation MY ASS.

9. True story
My SO and I were in a big bar, killing time before a play started in a nearby theater.

The bar had CNN on one TV, and "The Simpsons" on the other. They were covering the search for the downed aircraft on CNN, and playing the episode where Homer joins the Navy on the other.

A drunk comes wheeling out of the bathroom, squints at both TVs, and in a very Barney Gumble voice yells "Go getem, Homie! Homie will save JFK Junior!! He's coming to get you John-John!!! Hang on!!"

We almost fell off our barstools.

Given a decade or so and some experience: extremely favorable.

Come on.

July of '99.

We all know what was happening in July of '99.

July of '99, for me, was a critical point. I'm just now realizing how many, many events it set in motion which are coming to fruition in these dark days.

But from John to Jackie to Camelot to Junior . . .

He was to become the "Princess Di" of America.

Eventually, he could have won any election, against anyone, with the whole world rallied around him.

The assassinations of varied characters and levels have continued non-stop since November of 1963.

17. There are reports of no visibility problems when the crash happened.
Visibility problems may have been later.
Maybe the Bush family has it in for them.

Bush I training assassins for the CIA/ JFK in Dallas that last day?

Should have been:

JFK president 1960-1968
RFK president 1969-1976
Ed? president 1977-1984
Some other Kennedy 1985-1992
Clinton/Carter 1993-2000
JFK JR. 2001-present

Then the USA would be liberal and happy! Peace and love. Conservatives would seek psychiatric help instead of office.

if you were a big liberal politician that was capable of being a thorn in the side of the ultra right, why the hell do you fly in a private plane?

It just seems to me that so many meet their ends in plane 'accidents.' Me, I'd take the bus fucking everywhere.

30. As a pilot AND a democrat
I'm gonna have to disagree. Sadly, he was not using the best judgement. Flying an aircraft into IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) weather without an Instrument rating is not just a risk, it's a disaster waiting to happen. Trust me when I say that a private pilots license is NOT proper preparation for this type of flying. Disorientation is likely.

End of Boring Rant.

"The forecast indicated visual flight rules (VFR) conditions with clear skies and visibilities that varied between 4 to 10 miles along his intended route. The pilot then departed on a dark night."

You don't take off at night with any visibility below 10 miles and a private license only.

Any pilot in the world would tell you...Bad Judgement.

44. fyi
clear skies only refers to sky condition (i.e. not "scattered" "Broken", or "Overcast") and has nothing to do with fog or any ground visibility reading.

see second half of report:

"Other pilots flying similar routes on the night of the accident reported no visual horizon while flying over the water because of haze."

there ya go.

You don't know what Jr. saw, what judgments he made, what skills he had, or what actions he took.

You don't know. You have a little pilot's knowledge and you think you can determine the cause of the crash, off the cuff.

Sorry. That isn't good enough.

2. Even the NTSB simply tries to do what they can with the evidence they have.

3. All evidence points to disorientation/loss of control. None points to any conspiracy.

4. I completely understand that you don't trust my credentials. You don't know me so that's cool. But I think I've proved that I know something about the field, and even if that's not enough, I've provided links with facts for all my claims.

I did kinda wonder how Janklow got back in there since there was a Republican incumbent.
