Who follows discussions past the front page?

I've noticed a trend. I am more than likely wrong...
But it seems that after a post leaves the front page interest drops

So do you follow posts past the front page

1. I rarely do

To me the front page is where the action is. But if I've just logged on I'll go back a few pages to see if there's anything interesting.

2. I try to

catch up on all new posts :D

3. I Usually Use "Latest"

4. I mark what interests me and go back

but concentrate mainly on the latest front page, its true. I've noticed that once an item goes off the front page its unlikely to come back.
