I hope everybody is doing OK today! I'm fine down here in Florida!

Holey moley yesterday was a LOOONG day! I went in early so I could make sure everything was good to go for our Regional Managers vistit. By 10AM, the store was set and looking spectacular! She was due at 12:30, so we had plenty of time! In the end...she NEVER SHOWED UP and NEVER CALLED! :grr::banghead: How irresponsible is THAT?

I got off at 5:00 and as soon as I got home, the store called...our District Manager called to tell us that our Regionals plans had changed and so she is going to be there TODAY!

I'm off today and tomorrow, so I don't get to see her after all! :woohoo:

And I'm feeling better too (mentally that is) however my arthritis hates the change in the weather.
I'm planning a very long soak in my jacuzzi after all of my house mates are gone for the day.

I think it is great that you have two days off back_to_back. :thumbsup: I worked in retail for many years.

I've been worried about everyone down there.

And yes, at TRU the big dogs wouldn't show up all the time when they were supposed to. Always annoying, because the tension leading up to a big visit makes it hard to deal with all the other stressors of working there.

I saw the doctor this morning because my hearing in my right ear has been impaired for some time now. He looked in there (ew - who'd want to be a doctor) and said it was just full of wax and told me what to buy from the chemist.

I like simple answers. :)

22. I'm glad it's just earwax....

I had that problem once. I had to go in to the doctor's office and they used a waterpik to shoot warm water in my ear to dislodge the wax buildup. What came out of my ear was nothing short of disgusting! It all came out in a big ball and looked to be the size of a baseball!

I have left the 700 Club due in large part to my participation in Lesbian TV shows and Clenis movies. I racked up some posts there because the 700 Club is a bad enough association but here in Virginia we are particularly sensitive as we have both Pat Robertson AND Jerry Falwell in residence. I guess Florida has its share of wicked Christians (I'm thinking of the Orange Juice Sunshine gal :evilfrown:)
