The OFFICIAL Steelers Suck - Monday Night Football Thread
I have had it. Call Joey Porter's being capped in the ass a harbinger of the season.

HOW IN HELL DO YOU TURN A 3RD AND INCHES INTO A 4TH AND 16?!?!?!

I swear they are 52 Barney Fifes in football pads.

LOWER THAN THE *&_*(&*()@&#+)*(@ #BENGALS!

1. At least you got to see Jennifer Garner.
But yeah, the Steelers are not playing well. Sorry, but as a former Oilers fan, I can't work up that much sympathy. ;-)

2. Things aren't looking great
I really wouldn't have much confidence in Tommy Maddox as a starting QB.

4. Tommy Mattox is not the issue.
The offensive line has consistently been offensive.

Apparently the line is so bad and banged up this year that their starting LG is playing LT. No way to play the game.

The OL has simply been unprepared every single season under Cowher. They can't seem to block their way out of a paper bag for the first 6 games of the year. This year they have decided to extend the concept.

JM

5. I can empathize with OL problems
The Dolphins line is awful this year.

We've got a converted TE in Wade Smith starting at LT. It's not good to have the QB's blind spot being protected by a rookie 3rd Round draft pick.

Jamie Nails was solid last year, but hasn't recovered from two knee scopes and a torn achilles.

Tim Ruddy at Center is getting a little long in the tooth. So is Todd Perry at RG.

Todd Wade is the bright spot on the line, but the Dolphins won't overpay him as a free agent this offseason.

I'm pulling for Pittsburgh to pull it out tonight. The AFC North is so weak that an 8-8 or 9-7 team could conceivably win the title.

3. Cowers had his ...
chin out in full force pretty early in the game. Sorry, but I love to see him upset. He looks like he could blow an artery at any moment.

Go 9ers

Cheers

6. Chin or no chin, he could NEVER compare to...
...Mr. Ditka, the original master of high intensity.
