The Beastie Boys opened and got booed off the stage because all they did was jump around with their huge, inflatable penis. Madonna was good though. :-)
Edit - oh, and I'm 35, drink primarily beer (when I drink) and like sports. I'm not as into Madonna as I used to be.

My furnace isn't working -- the guy will be here tomorrow afternoon. I'm wearing a warm sweater and sleeping under several blankies. I'm in Phoenix, which isn't anything like Chicago, but it has been in the 40's overnight.

13. No the celcius difference |
|
Up here 40 degrees is equal to 110 in the states. We measure on a differnt system so I was thinking..."it's 40 degrees there at night and you got the furnace on!"

the metric system. I'm trying to teach that to 9th graders who don't see the point. The hate science and are never going to use it, they say. So why should they learn it? Morans. I asked them if they wanted to be ignorant Americans. I surprised myself.

15. Keep on pushin' my love over the borderline |
|
Though I couldn't name a single Madonna release from the last ten years, I do enjoy a lot of the stuff she recorded in the '80s and early '90s. And if "Justify My Love" isn't one of the all-time greatest records to fuck to...!

22. Ah! There's another DUer who knows Madonna's "Everybody." |
|
Good song from 1982, a year before Madonna first hit the national charts with "Holiday." Shame Sire never reissued "Everybody" after Madonna made it big. Who knows, it might've become a hit in its own right!
