5. Some More Christmas Movies...
A Very Brady Christmas
It's so campy, it spoofs itself. Recommended if you haven't seen it yet.

Christmas in Connecticut

Mr. Bean (TV)
There's a Mr. Bean Christmas episode which is just wonderful. Not a movie, I know, but I have to mention it.

Him beating up Scott Farkas was the best scene in the show.

31. Yup, that's my favorite version
Scott made an awesome Scrooge. He was really fighting the three ghosts right down to the wire. Tough as nails, as I had pictured him from the book. Overall, I think this version follows Dickens most closely. It's definitely the only version that showed what's under the Ghost of Christmas Present's robes! Yipes!

21. I can't remember the name of it, but I liked it...
it had the actors from the Dukes of Hazard...but they played different roles. In other words, they weren't dukes..and there were no Confederate flags!

One was a truck driver, one was something else, and one was a singer. Two of them got into a fight, but still had a hap-hap-happy christmas!! Anyone know the name of this?? It was filmed in the late 80's I think.

I was involved in the post-production of that one. From 1987, I believe.

"Oh, look, a robot truck!" I still remember that line.

26. It's a Wonderful Life
I loved it when they showed it practically continuously on all different stations. After it went out of the public domain NBC is the only one now who can show it and they have it so chocked full of commericials that they ruined it. :argh: :-(

32. Prancer
I am such a sentimental schmuck. That movie kills me every year. Great story, natural, effortless acting by all involved (Sam Elliot is particularly convincing as the bitter, disappointed, angry single father). And Rebecca Harrell as the little girl who finds one of Santa's reindeer is just captivating. When Sam Elliot is in her room, reading to her from the "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Clause" letter, just TRY not to cry. Go ahead, I dare ya.
