I think I'm getting a cold -- time to hit the Nyquil

I can't get sick! I need to be strong for my mom who is very frail and dad who has pneumonia. Not to mention my 135 smiling students who depend on me. Or my 5 cats who need me.

5. NYQUIL ROCKS

It even knocks ME out, which is a feat even Jack Daniel's has never accomplished. :evilgrin: That green death flavor (thanks Leary) tells me "I will kick those germs's asses!".

NyQuil is the only drug I trust my colds with. I don't get sick much, so I never get to enjoy its benefits that often.

True story: I double-dosed on it when I had a really nasty bout with the flu nearly 12 years ago (I love the dose cup it comes with). My Bob Dylan posters on my dorm wall had his head lit up with glowing halos, changing colors. Then after spinning in a NyQuilled-up fever haze, I finally slept. Ah, NyQuil...........

6. Hey Zomby!

I once took vicodin for gum surgery. I was tripping. Zonked out on my sofa, I thought I was at Wrigley Field watching a Cubs game live. They I tried to call my mom but couldn't get a dial tone -- and I kept losing the ballgame on TV. Ahhhh it wasn't the phone, it was the remote.

Nyquil yes! vicodin, no freaking way.

I was at a live Cubs game back in 1983. I was drinking Old Style beer, and thought I was Harry Caray as a result! :o (well, the first 2 parts of that were true)

Seriously, I will avoid the vicodin! *hits mute button by mistake*

Mom is getting hospice care now and my Auntie Ruby and Auntie Norma are here helping. Otherwise I'd be lost. Having Dad sick is an extra worry for all of us.
