4. You've probably been to Bob's.
Take a trip to Maharaja for dinner. It's right across meridian from the mall. Nicest proprietors and best indian food you'll ever eat. If you like outdoor swimming, the thing I absolutely miss the most about Bellingham was Whatcom Falls. It's not the same since the big fire, but it's still my favorite little piece of heaven on earth.

5. Born in Anacortes, lived in B'ham for a year, worked there for five
I now live in Mount Vernon and am attending WWU (My wife is making enough dough that I can get my degree)

I'm a Kerry supporter and I've been trying to get a meet up in Mount Vernon. Let's talk.

6. I'd do that one (if Sneaky Foreigners are invited)
I'd even bring real beer, which, I understand, isn't sold in the US.

7. Sneaky foreigners are the best kind!!!!
My mum was born in Vancouver, her mum in Saskatoon. I've toyed with the dual-citizenship deal, but I am still unsure. Anyway, North-of-49 folks are always welcome in any meeting in which I have a voice.

I've been working with the Kerry campaign folks in the region. We'd like a get-together soon, and Thursday sounds cool.

Stay in touch...We may make this happen.

We need 2 more email confirmations to get it solidified. I missed the last one 'cuz I broke my back two days before. I will be there Hell or High Water. (The high water is not out of the question right about now. Neither is Hell for that matter.)

11. Heck you guys aren't foreigners around here.
The local pub keeper is Canadian as are many of the locals. The border is only about 5 miles from here as the crow staggers. Anyone interested email me and we can get something cooked up.

13. Hello I wonder if I know any of you
I live in Seattle, but my family is distinctly Whatcom county. Of the old school, Whatcom County since before Washington was a state. I'd be pleased to join any protests, only I haven't heard of any for awhile.

14. US has the best beer in the world now.
And Washington has the best beer in the US. Great microbrews. If you go to Bellingham (the city of subdued excitement) try a Pike Street Kilt Lifter Scottish Ale at the Wild Buffalo, or 3B's, or check out the Archer Ale House in Fairhaven. Lots of great beer in Bellingham.:beer:mmmmm

16. I know Maple Falls very well.....
is the North Fork Brewery still open? Great beer and pizza. My band used to play at a really wild snowboarder bar called the Chandelier out by Mt Baker years ago. But it burned down awhile ago.

Nice area, great people, but I had a hard time with the rain. Love the Nooksack.

20. Lived in B' ham, summer of '84.
I was in a band called "The Joneses" and we played at Starbucks Tavern a few times. I've been back to visit a time or two. I decided against staying 'cause down deep I'm really an east coast guy, but I do love and miss Bellingham!
