I need a good idea for a costume...
My company celebrates Halloween every year with a luncheon and a costume contest. I would like to dress up, but can't think of anything cool/original. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

1. Go as static cling
Wear a black pair of pants and a black shirt, and safety pin all sorts of socks to your pants and shirt.

2. Angus Young!
I'm on an Angus Young kick now, as I've put together my outfit (minus the hat, as I can't find one).

4. Cut out two eye holes in a white sheet
And go as a ghost. It's a classic that sadly got lost in the annals of halloween history somewhere.

13. even funnier if it's a publishing, marketing, or educational company ...
... do the ghost thing, and bring a giant oversized novelty pen (or a large feather converted into one).

There. You're a "ghost writer".

A guy I know, who works at a bookstore, did something like this -- only he was wearing one of those "Scream" masks, and toting an old typewriter. Fun gag, except the typewriter got a bit heavy after awhile, and he had to ditch it. The pen would have been easier.

15. we just watched It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
and all the kids on there were wearing those sheets. It was very funny. I haven't seen one of those costumes in years.

Actually my kid is dressing up as Elton John. It's hysterical.

6. Flight attendant or mile high captain
I've been writing a novel about a flight attendant, and I just couldn't resist...

I would wear a flight attendant costume myself if I had a costume party to go to!

12. Dead Green
a play on Red Green. All you need is work pants, plaid shirt, belt AND suspenders. Then make an axe out of tin foil that will fit over your head, add red paint (for blood) and there you go! Go here to see what Red Green looks like, and then work from there:
