COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State officials say no football players will be charged after an incident that occurred early Sunday morning near Ohio Stadium.
Buckeyes athletic director Andy Geiger said Monday night that the investigation is over. He would not release details or names of the players.
WJW TV in Cleveland reported that as many as four players were involved in an assault and property damage case about 4 a.m. Sunday.
According to the WJW report, the incident originated at Columbus hip-hop club and culminated with a car chase to Morrill Tower on the Ohio State campus.
The police report, obtained by WJW, stated that campus police opened a criminal investigation after four women alleged they were assaulted at Morrill Tower.
