POST PARANORMAL EXPERIENCES HERE!!!! |
|
Since it's only a few days to the big H, I thought it would be appropriate to post about our little... experiences with the ghosts.
And we all know that a few are just because the cats grab your keys, and stuff like that... But, who's had a really weird thing happen that you just can't explain?
Well, for mine, one time, I was sleeping, and I felt something on my chest, weighing me down. When I woke up, I couldn't breath for a few moments. It wasn't a cat because I sleep with my door closed, and the only thing on top of me was a blanket.
It was weird. The whole night I felt like their was something in my room, and I still do. Sometimes it's menacing, sometimes it's not.

I don't have many, but here's one.
My son was three years old. He ran into the living room and cried "Mommy! Glass! Glass!"
I said, "Where?" And jumped up.
"In the kitchen" he said.
I got to the kitchen door just in time to see the globe around the light fixture crash to the floor and throw glass in all directions.

3. I have one of those voice activated recorders |
|
I left it on one night and NO ONE was in the small room outside the house that night. I noticed the tape had moved some, so played it. The tape says.."OUT.....NOW....HOUSE!" in some strange electronic sounding voice. We have it somewhere on one of the computers, but not sure which one.
STILL freaks me out to replay it.

4. The woman in the window... |
|
When I was a kid there was this old abandoned house on a point that stuck out into the Lafeyette River near where I grew up. We used to run around in the yard and on the porch…. Some of the bigger kids liked to throw rocks through the windows. Well, one day a bunch of us kids were running around in the yard. It was about this time of year (maybe a little later) and about 5pm. The back of the house faced the water and I was running behind all of the other kids when I looked up at one of the kitchen windows and saw a black woman standing in the windows. She was about 30, had on a calico blouse and a blue apron. She was drying her hands on a dish towel. What struck me most was the look on her face. She was gazing out that window as though she wish she was some where or someone else. After about 20 seconds she faded away. Now that I'm older I know more about that look.

5. Ok, here is one of many |
|
When I was 12 or so I had a paper route and one day after doing the route I came home to catch a few more winks before getting up for another summer day. We had just gotten a new puppy and it was whimpering so I picked it up and took it to my room to sleep on the bed with me. At that time I shared a bedroom with my brother and he was still asleep when I went up there.
I got into bed and put the puppy on my stomach and my head was facing the wall. I was laying there for a few minute when I heard the door of my room open and the sound of someone with heavy footsteps walk into the room. It was probably three or four steps and being that we had wooden floors in that room it sounded like solid sole shoes of a man walking in the room.
The puppy that was on my stomach got up and it's back raised and it started growling at whatever was there. I was still facing the wall but I was wide awake but I was too scared to turn to look at whatever came in my room. Honestly I thought it was someone who was holding a shotgun and I felt like I was going to get a shotgun blast any second.
Whoever or whatever it was stood there for a few moments and they I heard it leave my room and close the door. I then thought I heard it go into the bathroom next to my room and that was all I heard. I put the dog down and woke up my brother and told him someone was in the house and we had to check it out. He got out of bed and grabbed a baseball bat and we left the room looking for someone in the house.
We went in my sister's room and they were both still sleeping and then in my parent's room and both of them were still in bed sleeping. We checked out the whole house and there was no doors open nor windows.
When everyone woke up I asked if anyone got up early and went back to bed but they all said "no".
That is only one story of a lot that happened in that house. My brother (after I had moved my room to the basement) woke up one morning and saw an old man sitting in the corner looking at him. My brother wiped his eyes a few time and the man still sat there looking at him. Eventually the man disintegrated and my brother watched him do it.
Between faucets being turned on, something crawling into beds, hearing children laughing, seeing an old woman then her disappearing, objects disappearing then showing up and so many other things that can't be explained outright, we have had many stories that can be told there.
I could come up with at least 4 other people that are my friends that spent time at that house that would tell you that they experienced weird things there and back then said they would never spend a night in that house.
My parents still live there and will tell me the latest experiences once in a while. Whatever is there doesn't cause anyone harm but they make themselves known once in a while.
I could probably write a whole book based on all the things that happened to us through the years but it really doesn't matter. If someone is a skeptic they will never believe in that stuff and between me and my family there is nothing to prove. It was just the way it was/is.
