Liberal Books and the Right Wing Media |

I don't think the corporate media knows what to make of the healthy, non-bulk books sales of folks like Al Franken, Michael Moore, Joe Conason and Greg Palast. I heard O'Reilly say "Who's buying these books?" the other day, and I also heard mention of it on the Mark Bernier program.
Bernier leans right, but he's pretty moderate. I think some of these guys are starting to see that there's an untapped market out there for more progressive thought. If it will sell, I think we can take back some of the media.
These book sales encourage me, and I've bought as many of them as I can and am passing them around to my friends. We may yet get the country back on track.
On edit: GO AL GORE!

is a much better question for the right-wing books, with their bulk sales.
Incidentally, I notice in this week's NYT list, Zell Miller is the latest (and only) beneficiary of the RW bulk-buying machine, but it only got him to fourth place, and still behind Michael Moore and Al Franken.
So either they're not getting their money's worth, or (like all of us) they're doing some belt-tightening in today's wintry economic climate.
On edit: just a minor clarification.

I've found that the dagger (and its notation) started showing up sometime in 1995.
Cuyahoga County Public Library Parma Branch is a wonderful place.
Microfiche of old newspapers, etc.
