What's for lunch?
I've made a rather amazing salad:

mesclun greens
cucumber
red pepper
onion
broccoli
mushrooms
tomato
1/2 hard boiled egg
2 oz turkey breast
2 oz ham
crumbled bleu cheese
sunflower seeds

and Citrus Splash Italian salad dressing

oh yeah, and a diet coke

(and I've got a sugar-free jello in my lunch sack if I decide I need something sweet)

2. Sleepy
I work from home and usually have crackers and cheese or a sandwich for lunch. Today I had 6 pieces of bacon and buttered toast and a giant helping of grits loaded with butter. Now, I remember why eating so much during the day is not good. I'm so sleepy and my bed is in the next room. I have a couple of hours of monotonous work to do, the dogs are all sleeping and I don't know how I'm going to stay awake.

6. I think naps are healthy
I'd rather take an hour for a nap in the afternoon and work an hour later.

9. The last peice of of a huge home made
Chicken Pot Pie - or rather, chicken pot pizza crust pie.
With sautee'd garlic, 'shrooms, red pepper, onions, peas and a delicate dijon/ginger/tarragon/sour cream bechamel type sauce covered with melted medium chedder and mozzerlla cheese.
I experimented with the crust and did a variation of a foccacia type flat-bread and used a 9" square pan (which allowed me the leftover piece today)to bake it in rather than the usual short crust with egg in a regular pie pan I usually do. Turned out okay, but I think I'll go back to the short crust; much too chewy and not quite the right texture for that sort of dish.
One of my specialties; occasionally, the kidlet will even eat it rather than just pick at it.

10. sauce
sounds great, I've experimented with sauces for a pot pie type thing but they have always been too thick or too thin.
