1. If we have Santa Ana conditions
there will be a hot, dry wind blowing and temps could be up in the 90's to 100 depending where you will be staying.

You will need a light jacket at night, no matter what the day time temps are.

Thanksgiving is usually really nice here, but who can tell, it might even rain.

3. Not far from me
:hi:

Just be sure to bring a light jacket. Once the sun goes down, it is chilly.

The fall is the best time of year to be here, imo.

6. Hi KitchenWitch!
Yes, if the Santa Anas are blowing, as they are now, it will be warm in the daytime.....anything from the 70's up into the 90's.

At night during those conditions, the temps could fall into the 50's.

Probably it would be wisest to call just before coming and find out what is going on!

Won't we have some fun? I hope so......

8. Read the book TORTILLA CURTAIN by TC Boyle
The climax takes place around Thanksgiving in LA.

It's probably the most true to life book about SoCal.

My inlaws live out there, and Thanksgiving is about the only time of year I have not been out there.
