Played out in the burbs. Temps in the 60s, bright sun. And I shot a 93, which is pretty good for me especially considering I haven't practiced or played in a month. Plus my back feels like crap from sleeping on the couch.
November golf is a blessing.

I play tons in summer and at Christmas but not nearly enough the remainder of the year. Obscene green fees in Las Vegas have as much to do with it as lack of open days and not wanting to miss football on weekends. Living in the East it was much simpler to sneak in an early weekend round before the games begin.
Ouch, don't mention a bad back and golf. My game has never been the same after developing sciatica down the left side.
I picked up an interesting instruction book this summer, "The Plane Truth About Golf" or something like that. Breaks down golfers into two categories -- one plane swingers or two plane swingers. The one planers duplicate their backswing on the way down while two planers reroute. I'm definitely a two planer, with too many moving parts and potential problems. My dad has a relatively simple one plane swing and he really benefitted from that book, making his swing slightly flatter on the backswing and maintaining the same plane.
