The young Bush -- and his life of early disadvantage.....
I encountered this quote, and simply could not believe it.

"Mr Bush said he was looking forward to staying with the Queen - even though he joked that he had to rent a morning suit for the formalities.

"Obviously, staying at Buckingham Palace is going to be an historic moment. I never dreamt when I was living in Midland, Texas, that I would be staying in Buckingham Palace."

Why not? Was it because he'd never heard of it? He was always a child of privilege.

It reminds me of the time Dan Quayle re-invented himself as a poor child who had to earn money delivering papers. I think it was Cokie Roberts who wryly commented, "he forgot to mention that his grandfather owned the paper".

1. Didnt you hear Lisa one time on the way to boarding school on a plane
One time he had to sit in coach. *gasps sarcastically* Now I wish that was my own, I got it from the daily show bio of him. A memo to GWB, dude you were well off as a kid, you wanna see someone who worked hard to get to 1600 PA Advenue, look no more than your prodecessor.
