1. I was living in Nairobi when the show was popular... |
|
Even in Africa, people were tuning in to see the last episode.

2. We watched it religiously... |
|
since NBC was the only channel we received back then, you can understand why. Really liked the show and I never saw the series finale (it was the first drama I remember ever having a series finale).

5. Loved it, great guest stars also |
|
I remember a young Angie Dickinson, Carroll O'Connor, Brian Keith, Telly Savalas, and so many more.
The early black-and-white episodes were generally the best, but I really liked a late one in which the one armed man was doing sleep deprivation testing and was tricked into spilling details of the murder. And it was always hysterical when Lt. Gerard would travel across the country pursuing Kimble, then completely give up for the time being once Kimble "escaped" by running around the corner.
I watched or taped The Fugitive religiously when A&E aired it in the late '80s and early '90s. Can't understand why it has been cable absent for so long.

7. Died of a heart attack, circa 1980 |
|
I know I was early in college when it happened. My memory is spring '80, but that could be somewhat off.
Janssen lived hard and aged poorly after The Fugitive. I believe he was still in his 40s when he died.
