Lame local TV station *leads* 11:00 news with Michael Jackson story |
|
NBC affiliate in Cincinnati - as if they don't have anything more important to report on.
Welcome to the joy of media consolidation in America.

1. Well, my affiliate led off with a |
|
reporter reporting on the on the reporters reporting in front of "Neverland". Huh? That's news? Why is this non-story a story? I wonder if the real story is right under their noses, the BFEE agent walking around trying to float some juicy rumors, you know, primimg the pump until Shrub's ill-fated London visit goes south. Are they waiting for the Bush trip "shit-hits-the-fan-meter" needle to jump before suddenly "discovering" that Michael Jackson was hiding, suspended in his personal ferris wheel?

It is helping to cover up the fact that England does not want Bush there! See, now he can come home and say it went well because everyone was watching Michael!
I alway want to start a consperacy(sp?)idea!

4. I suppose that's understandable... |
|
...given it's a local story.
This station is in Cincinnati, and the Neverland Ranch is in what, California? Unless there's some massive underground fanbase in Cincy for Jacko I don't know about, it's just plain tabloid journalism and laziness.
