Supreme Court Rules There Will Be No Nativity Scene in Washington, DC
The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Nativity Scene in
Washington, DC this Christmas season.

This isn't for any religious reason, they simply have not been able
to find three wise men and a virgin in the nation's capitol. There
was no problem, however, finding enough asses to fill the stable.

3. Since the moderators moved this from GD to the lounge; is that a promotion
or a demotion?

What? Was the joke not suitable for general discussion or was it too good to be left out of the lounge?

4. Don't take it personally.
It was moved here because we love good humor. And those poor befuddled folk in GD would think this was real breaking news, and get all pissy about it.

I love that joke. Tell it all the time. O8)

5. I'd never take it personally. It just seems sometimes that the rules are
arbitrarily applied (which is OK with me -- I certainly have other things to worry about beyond the configuration of the deck chairs).
