Surprise Bush Supporters
I just found a list of celebrities who support Shrub. You would be surprised, I was at the following:

Tom Cruise
Dennis Franz
Kid Rock
Rob Lowe
Brian McKnight
Steven Spielberg
Ben Stein
James Woods
Tiger Woods

Here is the link to the list:
What is the world coming to? Britney Spears even backs Shrub.

So much for this "Left Coast" conspiracy garbage

1. Ben Stein was Nixon's speech writer, wasn't he?
His support of * doesn't surprise me in the least.
Spielberg, though...?

5. yes
Even worse, Stein said once that the Clinton administration "was the most corrupt in history". The sheer denisty of gall in that statement crushes us all.

2. Unbelievable list
(By the way, your link is invisible.)

I've seen lists like that before. They take a celebrity making a single positive remark about Shrub, and suddenly, s/he's a supporter.

Some of them actually are pro-Bush, like James Woods (this week) and Ben Stein. Others are quite anti, like Spielberg and Cruise.

I have a feeling that even most of the "pro-" Bush people will end up calling for his removal.

4. I don't believe Spielberg
is a big Bush supporter. He's always been a big Dem contributor.

8. no big surprises there
Cruise gave his brain to Scientology years ago.

James Woods has long been a wingnut. Tiger's Dad was a Green Beret and probably raised him to be a major conservative. Franz? Well, no one takes him seriously, and he whores for Nextel.

Kid Rock is dumber than dirt and has zero talent. Ok, I quit. The list speaks for itself.

11. That would probably be the case for Spielberg.
People like SS probably don't feel it's useful to undermine the Chimp by ragging on him every day, and prefer to confine their opinions to the voting booth. SS owns his own studio and therefore, he has a lot to lose by sticking his head out too far. See how his attitude changes (or doesn't change) when a Democrat gets elected President.
