I have had it up to here with sleazy monocle salesmen
trying to get a decent monocle is like trying to find a decent used car, only the salesmen are even worse hustlers and dress like pimps or john travolta saturday night fever wannabes.

who would have thought that society would have fallen to this level? shameful.

:hi:

1. I'm with you, Zuni
I tried to get one for my husband last year for Christmas and the guy spent the whole time hitting on me. It was disgusting.

7. nowadays they always want unmarked, non-sequential bills
Edited on Mon Nov-07-05 04:49 PM by Zuni
their antics are rapidly getting tiresome.

And having to strip to prove I am not wearing a wire is quite humilaiting

13. well, they barely deserve the title of saleswoman
they are, for the most part, "working girls" in a cover job. I haven't bought a pair of suspenders without a "happy ending" in years.

20. It's the whole "TR" thing
That image just attracts a whole scene.

A whole scene that I want nothing to do with.

Now gaiter salesmen, they're nothing but good folks. I could get a whole fetish going around men who sell gaiters....

21. actually, most of the monocle salespeople
have more of a 'Prussian militarist' fantasy going. A WWI German Field Marshal is generally the "eyewear" model that they prefer.

...you know, the guy. On TV.

On some sit-com about a war or something.

I wish I knew where to find that pic.
