My registered mail arrived |
|
Oh joy of joys! Of course it ONLY took like NEARLY a MONTH to get there but...it's there.
'Um, some people might recall when I posted that I thought my mail had been tampered with by the Postal Service.

1. Well, was your correspondence being interfered with? |
|
Or not? I must say, you've piqued my curiousity. What was/is going on?

6. I'm not entirely certain |

But I mailed this item from Irving, Texas during the first week of October and it was registered. I posted about this two weeks later, saying that it STILL hadn't arrived and I was concerned that somebody within the postal service had either destroyed it or it had been tampered with.
People responded saying to type the number on the receipt in over at the UPS website. Did that, no luck. Person I mailed item to, spoke to them on the phone, they still hadn't received it.
Anyhow, they called me earlier today to say it'd arrived.
It's all very bizarre. A registered item taking a month to arrive.

2. I'm sure I had my tax return tampered with. |

So maybe something is going on at the Post Office. Homeland Security can read you mail without you knowing it. My accountant also said something has been happening to her mail. Since we both use the same Post Office, maybe it's a local problem, but I wonder.

3. My mail has definitely been messed with |

Signs of packages opened and sloppily taped closed again. Family correspodence from France suddenly started taking weeks to arrive, as opposed to days. It's gotten better in the past year but, frankly, I can't wait to move out of this country! URGENT! Timing is critical to save earthquake victims before winter!

Tampering with mail? I fully believe that this is happening to many people, it's outrageous.
