Has anyone seen Love, Actually?
Before you flame away, I refer to a specific instance in the film.

Billy Bob Thornton plays the asshole in chief of the US- a swaggering and arrogant cowboy. Hugh Grant plays the Prime Minister of GB. They meet, Thornton does a power play, tells Grant how its gonna be. In a press conference Thornton tells the press that they got what they came for - cooperation from the English. Grant says that isn't so, shocks the crap outta Bus, er, Thornton, says friends don't bully one another, etc, etc.

Kinda wish that Blair could be more like Hugh Grant.

Other than that exchange, I ain't got a lot to say about the film. It was ok - the aging rock star guy was fun.

2. No, and in the mood I'm in,
I don't want ANYTHING to do with romance movies or any movie having ANYTHING at all to do with love and/or romance right now! If I want to see people getting what I'm tired of not having, I can just look around me at my friends, family, and co-workers!

4. Yes, and I liked it very much. My favorite stories were the ones
involving Hugh Grant's character and also Colin Firth's love story. The other segments were ok, kinda funny and sad at the same time.

And yes, this is a chick flick!

5. If you liked Bill Nighy, go rent "Still Crazy" immediately
It's a great movie; too bad it died in the U.S.

6. Yes and I loved it...
the Hugh Grant as PM part was funny but what I really loved was Liam Neeson's character. He was fabulous and sad and funny and just beautiful.

9. That was a great character, wasn't it?
And the precocious child was a blast, too.
