41. A tribute to my hubby.....

Memorial Day week-end, I had emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix. I went into the emergency room at midnight and didn't get into surgery until 8 a.m. I was in terrible pain, and my husband stayed by my side the whole eight hours. During the five days I spent in the hospital, he spent half the day with me and the other half taking care of things at home---which included taking care of our three cats. When I got home he took over doing everything---meals, shopping, cleaning--the works. He still won't let me vacuum.

He stepped up when I needed him most. :applause:

It's so wonderful to have someone you know you can depend on through anything. Mine had to learn to repack my incision when it wouldn't heal right away after my hysterectomy. He also showered me when I broke my leg and took such good care of me thru it all!
