1. It's on On Demand, I think.
On HBO? I think it came on the other day. If so, you could save the $3.99. :)

3. TOTALLY worth it, imo
We LOVED this movie. It's very powerful and topical for today's society. I'd definitely recommend it, but keep in mind it's not exactly "light and fluffy". Heavy stuff, racism, but very thought-provoking, nonetheless.

My two cents,
Shine

4. Good movie
You won't be sorry. It's one of those that challenges you to think and you'll be mulling the questions raised afterward.

But, if you want something lighter, no.

Can't say enough good things about that film.

Just wonderful. I burst into tears at one part, and I do that *extremely* rarely. There were a few surprises I didn't see coming...the film makes you think about who is "good", who is "bad", lots of really interesting things in it. Wonderful performances all around, too. That Thandie Newton isn't a bigger star boggles the mind.

You won't regret it. I'm wondering if I should pay for it again. I'll probably buy it (another rare thing).

9. yup - I enjoyed it...
I'm guessing you're talking about the new "Crash" with Don Cheadle, Sandra Bullock, etc., not the movie by the same name with James Spader from about a decade ago...

Anyway, the new "Crash" is very good. Let us know what you think after you've seen it..

10. not really
kinda like "grand canyon" (is that the name of that movie with kevin kline?) on steroids.

the epiphany per second ratio is really way too high.

18. It does hit you over the head sometimes
and some scenes are overdone.

I would say it dealt with race in a surprisingly good way FOR HOLLYWOOD. That's kind of like saying Bush's speeches are good FOR HIM - doesn't make them good speeches.

I am highly disappointed with you, Sparky. Don't you know all good neanderthals and neanderthalettes watch college football and drink beer together on Saturday nights in the fall?

Don't you love football? Don't you love drinking beer?

I don't know if I can call you Sparky anymore. Sparky.

19. Yes.
I really liked it. It does bring up the same old typical sterotypes but it was interesting throughout. Some good acting too. Sandra Bullock turns in one of her better performances and of course Don Cheadle is good as always.
