Why Ohio State isn't liked by writers!
Ohio State is always bashed in sportswriters polls because they play excelent defense, field position offense(set up punt) and time possesion offense. Since most sports writers can't just cover football and see what's so great about this tactic. They call them a fluke team and write them off because they don't have a flashy Florida State or Oklahome offense. If OSU has the lead they'd rather consume time by running the ball for a cloud of dust and then punt for field position. If the oppurtunities there they'll march down the field and hang a 6 on the scoreboard but if they've got the lead it isn't that much of a purogative for them. That's why they PO everyone in Vegas as well. I think that's karma though because it's a bad buisiness idea to bet on 18 year olds.:dunce: Stick to baseball, NFL, NHL and Boxing.

1. Well, I have to agree with the writers on this one--OSU is a
good team, but they simply should not be playing for the title this year. Saturday will be their real test.

2. Youve got to admit
Although they keep winning, they aren't the most exciting to team to watch unless you're a big fan of defense.

Then again they make up for it with those close down to the wire games. I'd rather watch an offense that can roll over people, though, instead of just about having a heart attack because of close games.

3. Remember defense wins championships
It's a good thing I like defense though or else I'd be very disapointed in them right now.

4. LOL, I thought you meant by writers of BOOKS
and I was going to say, well what about Philip Roth?

But then of course, I considered the source.

GO BLUE!
