16. That's MY problem too...
I'm not sure how much I'd use it. The stereo in my car plays MP3's so I can just burn a hundred of them to a CD if I want. I can't listen to it at work (and still hear customers anyway), and here at home I have software that mixes them together (like a radio station). So, spending $250 for one is going to be a big investment when I don't know how much use it will get.
