I'm 6'3, long blonde hair (almost shoulder length, but not a mullet), blue eyes, shoulders you could stack books on. I have small points at the tips of my ears, and currently I'm sporting short trimmed side burns and a van dyke (what most people call a goatee, I look 16 without the chin fur) I have long ass arms (wing span of 76 inches) and long legs with massive calves. Interestingly, I wear a size 13 shoe and a size small glove.

I'm 5'10", 215 lbs., I have VERY broad shoulders, I have straight, slicked-back black mafia-style or Pat Riley-style hair, my skin is a few shades darker than that of a normal white guy, which basically means my skin is olive. I have a few acne scars, a latino-style moustache and a love-patch goatee on my chin. I used to have bushy sideburns, but not anymore. My face is wide and kind of chubby, and the proportion of fat from my head and face to the rest of my body are unequal. My face is fatter than it should be, and my head is larger.

Bobby would tell the audience that Paul Newman was playing bass. I am also told I look like Richard Dreyfuss and Stuart Markowitz (Michael Tucker on the old LA Law). That is an answer of who I might look like, not what.

Now, I look like a mountain man. Full beard, longish hair, bib-overalls or suspenders, crooked cane for my still-exquisitly painful broken toe, or crooked hiking staff for before the toe and - with any luck - after it heals. My dad makes the crooked canes and staffs. He should go into business. Everybody wants one. They are cool.

49. I was what is called a "pick-up" musician. Kind of like a one-night-stand.

The band contacts the local union and the union sends out whatever musicians are needed and appropriate. I was a jazz and swing band bassist, so that's how I ended up playing with Vinton. Vinton had a great book. Some real classic big band charts and original compositions. He was a classical oboist - conservatory trained - who was way, way above his saccharine "Blue Velvet" and "Roses are Red" pop hits. Rehearsal with Bobby Vinton was a lesson in advanced music theory.

I had a good, well-worn Kay jazz bass. It served me well on a USO Show tour to the revolution in the Dominican Republic in 1965.

Lee Sklar, shown in the picture above, is one of the most prominent american bassplayers. When you did mention that you're a bass player looking like a mountain man, his picture immediately entered my mind.

I 've considered posting a photo but decided not to. I'm 5'5'' and weigh around 120 pounds. I am top heavy, around 38C now I think. I also have a relatively thick waist. My limbs are like toothpicks, especially the lower parts. I have wavy multicolored hair that looks light brown from a distance and blue eyes. I think that my neck is too long and my ears stick out too much. I don't know if I'm ugly, cute, or beautiful.
Looking at Hypnotoad's picture again, my facial structure is sort of similiar except that my cheek bones are higher and my chin isn't as broad. We have similiar lips and nose and eyes placement as well as general face shape.
