Puts the poster of that particular message on ignore. And apparently yes, you can put yourself on ignore. Some posters have done it by accident, not knowing what the icon meant, or so I understand.

but this particular individual was inspiring counterproductive rage in me and not much else. I expect to have disagreements with people here and read things I don't like --- that's part of the process. I'm sure you've encountered people in your travels though who are just unreasonable, and who can only be dealt with by having them talk to the hand.

It's MY thing, not theirs.. I just decided , finally that I would be happier to not read their inane posts anymore.. That's for 2 of them...and for the 3rd.. This one is a contrarian to the nth degree and I just got weary of it..
