I've been experimenting. If my doggie does something I don't want him to do, I say, "No."

If he doesn't respond, I will do something like, grab the fire extinguisher off of the wall, douse him in the chemical, pin him to the ground, grab him by the throat, and yell into his ear, "LISTEN TO ME, YOU FUCKING OVER-GROWN-RAT-MOTHERFUCKING-BASTARD, I WILL GET MY CHAIN SAW OUT AND REDUCE YOU TO A PILE OF RED GOO IN THE BACKYARD IF YOU DON'T DO WHAT THE FUCK I SAY, AND I MEAN RIGHT NOW. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?

Sometimes it works. As I say, I am just experimenting.

The recidivism rate for offenders treated this way is extremely low, though most will pee the floor. Your method may not be suitable for all pet owners though.
