A very sad divorce court story....

...involving an abused child. Apparently he was given the choice of who he'd like to live with and had a bit of trouble.

The judge asked him if he'd like to live with his mother. He declined, stating "my mommy beats me every year in late November".

The judge asked him if he'd like to live with his father. He declined, stating "my daddy beats me too, every year in late November".

The child looked very scared, as he knew what the calendar said. It was already mid-to-late November, and the judge could see the fear behind the child's eyes.

Clearly, the judge was angry with both parents, and in a moment of frustration, asked the small child who he would like to live with if he had his choice of everybody in the world.

The child responded "The Michigan Wolverines. They never beat anybody in late November."
