2. Sounds like a great program
Wish I had been there.

Perlman, like all great interpreters, has his own sound - he has a sweetness of tone and expressiveness - I can see that bringing out the best in the Beethoven.

I've never heard him in person, just on T.V. and through CDs.

5. Our seats are 3rd row, Center Right, on the aisle.
you can feel the vibration of the Bass from where we sit.

GEE, so THAT is what "Pitsicatto" on the lower strings is SUPPOSED to sound like.

Yum.

3. He looked like he was having a BALL.
Just like Nemi Jarvi looks like he is having fun.

I will miss that man. I have had a chance to talk to him a couple of times, but not since he announced he was leaving.

Our loss, the east coast's gain.

7. Perlman played with us
several years ago. What an experience! I just wish I had been able to sit in the audience because it was difficult to pay attention to every nuance when you have to play your own part. What I heard was wonderful. Lucky you!
