5. I almost felt bad for them today
I won another bet against the Eagles. Damn, they can't cover anything.

But not as much satisfaction anymore. Their season is shot and a very talented team was sabotaged by lousy coaching strategy and of course the injury to McNabb and problems with TO.

The ongoing lesson is if you get to the Super Bowl you better win it. The losers have flopped the following season with increasing regularity. Philly this year, Carolina last year, Oakland in 2003, and St Louis in 2002 all followed Super Bowl defeats with losing seasons.
