3. When I was a kid I had a black cat that was a hell cat, she ruled the
yard and me. If I was making to much noise she would come over and bite my toe. She was a great cat. A cat's cat.

I still miss that cat, she could give you such a look with her yellow eyes. I still miss her.

5. Torties are never sweet
Edited on Sun Nov-20-05 09:35 PM by MidwestMomma
But they are fiercely loyal to the human who cares for them.

To be loved by a tortie is a true test of character. :)

Edited to add: That is one fine kitten. She has such a look about her. I love torties and have two. Enjoy....

7. I ll try to get a pic of her brother up around Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the feed back. Hey is it normal that her brother watches me bathe? Seriously Kimaul never wants to be left alone when i am in the house.

8. Is her brother a tabby?
Just curious as my old boy Walter was tabby and he liked to follow me around. However, part of Walter's reason for following me around was to make sure I was going to put food in the food bowl. That poor kitty was always very worried about the state of the food bowl and got downright nervous if it was empty.

Patches my latest tortie is definitely the type of cat that decides when it's okay for her to sit in your lap. Nevermind trying to pick her up and hold her. It has to be on her terms.

Thanks for adopting 2 kitties in need. That was sweet.

9. No he's a torte too
Pets in need said they found them both on the highway by the mama cat. I was original going to take Tsonga and leave kimaul but he just started crying terribly. Ever since I got my mom to take them home Kimaul wants to stay with me whenever i am in the house. He also likes to nurse from my fingers.
Oh he looks just like his sis except he coughs alot and has shorter wiskers and thicker fur. I am taking both of them to the vet the monday after turkey day.

10. I had a tortoiseshell like that.

I miss her. She's a great cat. She's still plugging along; she lives with my ex. My biggest regret was not taking her, but since I was the one relocating to another state, we felt it best not to uproot her.

6. Tsonga sounds like my kind of cat.
It was so nice that you got her from a shelter.

I am sort of catless right now, I have two cats but they came with the house. They are friendly but not the cozy type, enjoy your kitten. She will grow into a fine cat.
