It stands that the movie has to actually be good (so Firestarter is out), and bears up to repeated viewings, as both the TBS chestnut Shawshank and Comedy Central's Office Space do. A known movie but not a blockbuster.

Dawn of the Dead, perhaps? Evil Dead 2, Dead by Dawn? The Shining?

How long do you give it before Eliza Dushku does a station ID? "Have faith--you're watching the Horror Channel."
