i'm trying to catch DS1 in sheer 'ignore list' numbers but sadly, i'm STILL way behind :cry:

2. It has been a quagmire of hate

over there lately. Very hard to witness. I don't know how some of those folks function every day. I'd have a sour stomach and probably constipation too!

A couple of years ago I put one person on "Ignore".
She was actually stalking me.
And not in an "I love your ass" way.
That's when I took my personal e-mail off of my profile.
That really pissed me off.
She was tombstoned later, but not because of anyting I did.
Her karma just caught up with her.

There are a few here whose posts I just skip.
I know where they're headed and I just don't read them.

I mean, I don't care that we may choose to disagree because ultimately we agree on the most important thing which is Bush is bad for this country.

If I can't tolerate a few folks who wants to disagree with me then maybe I should find a hobby other than politics

It's usually because of things like spamming, stalking, or flamebaiting...

It's a given that my views are contrarian, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't think of a single person I ever put on ignore simply because we disagreed on a topic.

It's because I find the person disagreeable, not so much their views, that ultimately causes me to clean up the pages.

But even then I'm the type of gal that I just ignore them. Or if I see their irritating bantering posts I'll just hit the "X" button.

I hate seeing the message "User is on ignore" (or whatever that is) because it means there could be something I'm missing.

Sure, organizing DU parties DOES affect me only because I'm doing a party and damnit, I don't want people at crappy events. But online - I just try not to let it affect me and trust me, there is too much of that going on here.

But then again I'm the type of person to breakup with a boyfriend and stop talking to him cold turkey
