I'd say "I don't know how the freeps manage it", but of course the answer is easy: they (though not all, of course) hate and are suspicious of knowledge, an thus there is a strong tendancy to view with suspicion someone who writes correctly, or even to treat them with derision as elitists, as if using the language correctly was somehow insulting to the family and/or the culture from which the language user comes from).
