Who cares how old you really are. How old do you FEEL?
After all, they say age is only a state of mind.

I feel about 28 or 29. I had been feeling MUCH older and was tired and sluggish quite a bit of the time. I did a major overhaul of my lifestyle, correcting a number of unhealthy habits.

I feel a lot more energetic and my outlook on life, despite the turmoil in the world, has greatly improved.

So, how old do you feel? What do you think is making you feel older or younger than you really are?

2. mid-late 20s
Although I'm 35, I live in an apartment, I'm single, don't really own any property. I go out listen to live music, drink beer and hang out with my friends.

8. 3 little monkeys...
jumpin' on the bed
One fell off and broke his head.
He went to the doctor and the doctor said.
That's what ya get for jumpin' on the bed.

Sunny and purty! 30 more minutes before I go home, er, to the gym...to be inside more. Er...

15. Go jogging instead.
Or for a walk or something. If you go to the gym you won't get out til it's dark outside. You should go play in the sunshine.

21. I saw a woman at the gym on Sunday...
6 feet tall, with broader shoulders and bigger muscles than me. She was a pretty woman otherwise, but she could kick my ass with one hand while wearing a blindfold.

Of course you.

And if that's the first time you've seen her at the gym that could be a good thing. Maybe she's new in town and could use some new friends.

What's the worst thing that can happen if you go up to her and strike up a conversation?

33. Sunny in Chicago in November!?
I don't believe it! ;-)

There was one November when I lived there when the Sun only came out for 3 days that month, and I don't think that was terribly unusual.

November was always my least favorite month, weather-wise, in Chicago.

Every stinkin' day of my life I vaccilate wildly between 9-12 and 165. I don't have Bipolar, either. Just a common American citizen who tries to remain aware of things going on around him.

6. Depends on when you ask.
I am a firm believer that you are only as old as you act so I try to act 16 as often as possible.

Unfortunately having a job and bills to pay gets in the way of channeling my inner-juvenile-delinquent.

Definitely not 20, that's for sure. But I don't really feel any different than I did 10 years ago, so 25 sounds reasonable.

But how much longer will this good feeling keep up?

Truly. I can't ever remember feeling better. I'm sure I've lost a step, but with all the partying I used to do in my 20's and 30's, I actually feel better now than I ever have.

I'd say I feel 30? I guess. Although when I was 30 I felt 50.

26. Today I feel my age: 51. My Doc today said "High Blood Pressure"
9/11 I was 120 lbs, Iraq war begins, 130 lbs. Today: 144!! Shit I could hardly believe it. As I left his office and swallowed my very first high blood pressure pill and stuck the script for Thyroid meds in my purse I certainly felt my age. I am bummed, and resolute to begin exercising today. As a matter of fact, now. Sign off.

I hope you feel better soon. I sometimes eat when I'm stressed out, too, as do a lot of people. However, exercise will help you with the stress and help take off the pounds.

Take care.
