I had a CT Scan early this morning...ask me anything!
Asthma attack sent me to the ER. They had to rule out all sort of stuff... so I got a CT Scan...woo hoo... iodine injection and all...

I have soft tissue swelling in the lungs due to long term bronchitis so I have coughing asthma...versus wheezing asthma symptoms...

Some morphine, more albuterol...and more codeine to help me relax....
...and no worries I won't be a drug addict... I have to take anti-nauseual medication to stop me from gagging up the codeine...

2. I had a CT scan of my head once.
I was able to prove, conclusively, that I DO have a brain. :7

Aren't those just a joy?

4. Luckily this one wasn't so bad...I had a much more vigorous
experience with my GI CT Scan a few years ago when I got jaundice...

3. Okay, what was your radiation skin dose?
Or your deep tissue dose for this proceedure?

Did anyone mention the dangers of radiation to you at all?

How about the complications of ionic contrast?

5. yeah I know all the risks...
but not worried... I think all the fatty foods and alcohol I have eaten over the years has had more of an affect on me than one or two x-rays every once in a while....

Plus when you can't breathe...you really want to know why...guessing isn't an option...
