Or rather he Rocks!
John :yourock:
The Daily Show is the best "fake" news out there, better than faux news by a long shot. I just love how they have the cajones to bash Bush and expose his bullshit in their jokes. I keep wondering about John and his people. One of these days Ashcroft might come knocking to look for traitors.

1. Nah, even the Pukes come on his show to hawk their crap |
|
They know he has a huge audience (appx. 2,000,000 vierers each night, MORE than O'Liely)and they KNOW that it's a joke. Jeeze, wasn't that scumbag who wrote the book about bias in the media on last night?

5. but John is clearly liberal |
|
and he pokes fun of them. Last night he had the guy saying the media was in a liberal bubble, then he talked about a right wing cable news channel.
(the joke is Fox News) I thought that was great.
And the Bush speech about if you want..... John says "then you probably didn't vote for me" HAHA

2. You saw the "Bush wasn't excited about winning the election" bit, |
|
didn't you? They showed Bush sitting there when it was announced that he had won, and his face didn't show much emotion. They then isolated the portion of the shot centering on his crotch and his pants looked as if he was....well...."excited". They aired this shot repeatedly for weeks after the election.
I laughed my ass off every time.

9. Thanks, I was mistaken. It was at the RNC, not in the general election. |
|

4. Taking. no. prisoners. |
|
Between the bit about Dubya watching the horsies in London and the one about all the multi-divorced Senators and Congressmen defending the sanctity of marriage, this was an especially hardball show for Jon. But still hilarious of course.
