1. Let's hope the Cougs don't freeze up in Fairbanks
Or, in my case, let's hope they do!

"Victory's the cry at Washington..." well, maybe not this year, but usually.

2. It's anyone's game
I've seen Huskies barely win a game all season but come back to beat the Cougs in the Apple cup. If Huskies could beat the Ducks this year, then I think the Huskies will beat the Cougars also,

However, GO COUGS!

3. No Cougin it this year!
I'll be honest, I'm worried about this one.
Course, I'm always nervous when we're favored to win.

The Huskies run defense is seriously bad. Hopefully Smith and Green can pop some big runs and take the pressure off Kegel and his injured shoulder.

GO COUGS!!!!!!!!

One thing going for the Cougs -- a cold day in Seattle. Hoping the Huskies freeze up instead.

7. Anything's possible
At least I find comfort in the fact that I live and attended school in Seattle, and not Pullman.

6. Having lived in Seattle, I always root for WSU--the local media is crazy
about UW, so I react against all that.

Went to ND, so I'm sure anyone living in South Bend who doesn't care about football in general, probably roots against the Irish--local sports coverage in any market is overwhelming.

19. WSU FG, WSU 16-7
WSU dodged bullet after fumbling on first offense play of second half, when UW tried fake FG. Kickers pass was dropped by stone handed back-up FB. WSU then drove down the field, had first and goal at UW 5, but had to settle for FG.

I can't wait to read the Go 2 Guy's column in the P-I on Monday.

If there's one thing that especially delights me about the outcome of today's game, it's the thought that that, uh, anal orfice Moore is going to have to be eating crow for a while...

27. Bow Down to Washington!
Bow Down to Washington.
Mighty are the men who wear the Purple and the Gold,
Joyfully we welcome them within the Victor's fold.
We will carve our name in the Hall of Fame,
To preserve the memory of our Devotion.

So, heaven help the foes of Washington,
They're trembling at the feet of mighty Washington.
Our boys are there with bells,
Their fighting blood excells,
It's harder to push them over the lines than pass the Dardanelles.
So Victory's the cry of Washington
Our leather lungs together with a Rah! Rah! Rah!
And o'er the land, the loyal band
Will sing the glory of Washington forever!

I will now be boogeying around to the Husky band version of "Tequila!"

WooHoo!

31. Well, I am boogeying as well.
Texas A&M is playing the University of Idle this week. We're going to get spanked the day after Thanksgiving by the U of Texas, according to the "experts". Game's at our place, though. We've stunk it up this season just to lull them into a false sense of security. :D

Have you ever wondered why no one ever goes back to follow up with the 'experts' and find out what they've got to say for themselves when they're wrong?
