TV "news" programs have now quit warning us about turkey fryers and are now going on to warn us about Xmas lights and how we should all READ THE LABELS! He was very prescient. Next up will be film clips of instantly combustible Xmas trees burning out entire rooms in a jiffy!!

And you are right - once they tire of the "your Christmas lights will burn your house down and kill your children with electric shocks", then they'll move on to "Your Christmas lights will set your tree on fire and kill your children" and then they'll move on to "your trees are all so dry that if you even have electricity SOMEWHERE in your house, they WILL instantly flame up and kill your children and pets, so your best solution this holiday season is to turn off your master breaker and stay in a hotel in a city that doesn't allow real trees, because on Dec. 26, that town will be the only place in America that has anyone left alive and it will be your duty to repopulate the species".
