Mississippi cat survives ARROW through head!
Last week, Goldie thought she had lost her Mittens for good. On November 12th, Goldie let her cat out at around 7 a.m. She says she watched Mittens walk away from the house.

"She stopped at first and her ears perked up," said Goldie. "She went on out in the woods like she had heard something."

Fifteen minutes later, Goldie heard something. It was Mittens screaming like never before. Goldie found her cat trapped under her car with an arrow in her head. The arrow entered near Mittens' right eye and exited in the back of her head.

"I could see Mittens was hung under the grill (of the car) and had the arrow in her head," said Goldie. "I had gotten down and was trying to get it loose."

1. I sense a theme developing in The Lounge today...
People and animals with things stuck through their heads.

:freak:

3. Gosh, isn't hunting a GREAT sport!
Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside, to be teaching our kids such valuable skills, useful for so much growth and maturity.

I hope Mittens will be all right.

6. Hunting In A Neighborhood Within City Limits?
This was deliberate. I suspect the perp is a teenager and I hope will be caught before he/she can practice their craft on people.

10. That's not the work of a hunter
that is the work of a malicious little punk with nothing better to do than cause pain and injury to a cat. I hope they catch that fucker and press charges.

5. Mittens looks like our cat, Kisa.
Except that Kisa is white on the front of her neck and part of her snout also.

Poor kitty-cat.

7. One of our cats got shot with a bee-bee gun
and we didn't know about it till the vet was feeling under his front shoulder and found it. He didn't remove it but it made me mad because I know our neighbor's kid had a bee-bee gun and must have been the culprit.

My cats are indoors now, people can be so ignorant and violent against cats.
