A note to runners (Mardi Gras Marathon)

5 February 2006, the 41st annual Mardi Gras Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K will be run. The race will start at the Super Dome and at each mile marker there will be a high water mark signifying the extent of flooding.

Of course there will be a party at the race's end. Ya'll come.
