Poll question: Of these five PLAYFUL CATS photos, which do you think is best?
Edited on Thu Dec-01-05 12:05 PM by bertha katzenengel
One of these is mine. If you know which it is, please don't vote for it just because it's mine. :) :) :)

Milton

"I love my stuffed cat."

Louis LeBeau

"I never tire of playing with my fork."

Mercedes (Mercy)

"Almost got it!"

Emily

"All right, string... I've got you now!"

Petey

". . . a warm, solid lump of feline affection,
sweet and gentle -- except when at play.
When he wants a string or a feather, look out!"

See link: http://www.dogster.com/show/finalists.php?p=c&PHPSESSID=83f40918c81071b9731bf95ffc42ae2a (It's too late to vote in the categories, but you can vote for best in show if you register.)

So: best photo of a playful cat?!

5. I like Petey...
...but then I'm partial to Siamese, particularily seal points (I think he's a seal, he's definitely not a blue)

7. yes, I think he's a seal...
his mom was a tortie and his dad a tuxie, hence the "mixed breed/siamese" designation on the catster page. (here's a secret - that's the one that's mine ;))

15. I like Petey too.
That posture just seems so Siamese to me--I have two females, one blue and one sealpoint, and the seal, Yaxi ("Yashi"), can be, er, a little weird sometimes? Bordering on goofy, like that picture.

14. I have no way of knowing. This contest was decided by 11/28.
Edited on Thu Dec-01-05 02:42 PM by bertha katzenengel
That date, they closed voting by category, announced the five finalists in each category, and opened it up to voting on "best in show" only.

They'll announce all winners on 12/8. :bitingnails:

It's a helluva lot of fun, no matter the outcome!

edit: by saying "it's not looking good" i was just referring to this poll.

16. I voted for Mercedes (Mercy) because of the cool look on the
Mercedes (Mercy) - Look at that body, every part is in action, even the tail. This cat has got it all going.

If the photo shot could have been at floor level instead of from above, it would be a classic.

The other's are good but not great.

20. well, of course
;)

Wish you could meet him. You'd have to be a house guest for a week to meet him, and even then you might not get the full Petey treatment.
