Update on the found cat - he's got a chip! |
|
My daughter and I took him to the vet and had him scanned - he does have a chip. The woman at the vet's office told me that the owner had not registered the cat nationally, but we should be able to get the owner's information from the humane society. She gave me their phone number and the lot number of the cat's chip.
The humane society is closed for tonight, though, so the cat came home with us. We stopped off and got him a litter box, a dish, and some food. He really dug into the food! However, he seems to be afraid of the litter box and has not used it.

2. Is it a covered or uncovered box? Sometimes cats are scared by vice |
|
or versa. When Merlin first came to us he refused to use our covered box because it freaked him out a lot...until we took the cover off. If you have the opposite problem, perhas a couple of chairs, one on either side with a blanket stretched across would suffice. What a wonderful person you are! I'm glad it looks like he'll find his owners...but sad for your little ones. :hi:

7. If you stare versa right in the eyes |
|
it'll run away.
Well... unless it's Versa Major...

I never heard of that. Very cool that the owner took those steps. Microchips in cats... damn. It's like we are living in the 21st century or something. Next thing you know they will have a way to change channels on a television without having to get up off the couch.

Just think how happy his family will be when they found out that some loving people were taking care of their cat! :)
