Could someone help me with uploading a gif image for my avatar??

I have the image hosted at photobucket and I tried to copy and paste it into the little window. But when I left click I don't get a paste selection. What am I doing wrong??? Thanks.

1. In photobucket,

just below your picture, you should see a box with IMG in it. Select and copy that, and paste it into your avatar window at DU. :thumbsup:

4. you're trying to do an avatar?

You need to upload it to DU, and then use the correct URL for your avatar logo (DU tells you what it is)

Go to options:
Edit your profile:
and on the right:


Avatar Image
You can choose from following images or upload your own. To use your uploaded avatar, add the following to your avatar box: personal/#####.{gif}/{jpg}

I figured that part out. I copied and pasted the personal/#### into the window but now when I try to click the update button I am getting an error message.

(maximum size = 3 KBytes, recommended dimensions 48x48 pixels)

Also, you can download it to your computer and upload it from there (saves you the whole link-issue).
