Someone just did something so nice for me

See my avatar? That comes from the website of a man who calls himself "The Penguin". He writes for Runner's World magazine about running for the love of running, despite maybe never winning a race. This man "The Penguin" is a hero of mine. (www.waddleon.com)

There's a woman who is temping here in our department who does cross-stitch (embroidery). She just handed me a framed x-stitch picture of 4 penguins.

I think she did it just because I like penguins. Mind you, Christmas is coming up, and that may have been her motivation, but she didn't save it for Christmas. And while I am having surgery on Monday, I only found out about that 10 days ago, so I think she started this long before then.

She did it... just because.
