1. Here's a couple more:
1. Butt out
2. Grow up

I am appalled by that story, and I think your characterization of them as a bunch of Heathers is perfect.

4. By Cracky
I'm not sure I've ever heard this one used by anyone under 60.

This isn't a phrase, but I would really like to hear this old, outdated quote: "There is nothing to fear, but fear itself."
That would be refreshing.

13. "You're Welcome"
I'll say: "Thank you" Other person will say in response "uh-huh"

I don't know...1/2 of that essential duo is missing. One definitely follows the other. :-)

30. My BF's daughter was scooting a cart around in a thrift store
(I was right next to the cart) and she said "excuse me" to a lady who was blocking the aisle.

This lady was stunned that a three-year-old knew anything other than "move."

There's a whole generation of children being brought up to believe that the correct response to "Thank you" is "No problem."

On edit: It would also be fine to hear "It was my pleasure" after someone says, "Thank you." Then again, that seems to belong to another era, too, doesn't it? Are we really all turning into a bunch of crude, unimaginative boors?
